About the position

The Linux Application Engineer/Programmer role is focused on managing and maintaining Linux/Unix environments while ensuring system stability and performance. The position involves designing, implementing, and optimizing ETL processes using Informatica to support business data requirements, as well as working on data warehousing solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to understand and deliver on business requirements, along with troubleshooting and resolving issues in a highly available production environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux/Unix environments, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Design, implement, and optimize ETL processes using Informatica to support business data requirements.
• Work on data warehousing solutions, including data modeling, integration, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and deliver on business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a highly available production environment.
• Ensure the implementation of best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Linux/Unix Administration.
• Strong expertise in ETL tools, specifically Informatica.
• Hands-on experience in data warehouse design, integration, and optimization.
• Familiarity with the banking or financial domain is a significant advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
