About the position

As a Linux Operations Specialist at NavitsPartners, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing Linux-based environments. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering advanced troubleshooting and consulting services to ensure that our Linux systems operate at peak performance. You will be tasked with installing, upgrading, and managing various Linux distributions, including Red Hat, Ubuntu, and CentOS, while also supporting Linux/UNIX applications. This includes overseeing software tracking, licensing, and backup/recovery processes to maintain system integrity and availability. In addition to system management, you will customize system software to enhance performance, resolve issues, and meet specific client requirements. Your expertise will be essential in addressing and resolving issues with Linux servers across multiple distributions, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service. You will also be expected to have experience with MS Hyper-V and VMware, as these technologies are integral to our operations. Your role will require a strong background in incident response and security operations, as you will be responsible for maintaining the security and reliability of our Linux environments. You will need to be adaptable and ready to travel to client locations on short notice, providing on-site support as needed. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about Linux systems and enjoys solving complex technical challenges in a dynamic environment.
