About the position

The LINUX System Administrator for the ESTEL Team at Rollout Systems in Saint Inigoes, MD, will play a crucial role in supporting the RDT&E Network Enterprise. This position requires a strong understanding of both virtual and physical networking configurations, as well as robust hardware, software, and network troubleshooting skills. Candidates must hold an IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE) and possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance to start. The role demands a Bachelor's degree with three to ten years of relevant experience, or alternatively, an associate degree with four years of additional related work experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree. Responsibilities

  • Support the RDT&E Network Enterprise as a LINUX System Administrator.
  • Manage and administer RedHat 7 or higher systems.
  • Perform hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Configure and maintain virtual and physical networking environments.
  • Utilize ACAS/Nessus or similar vulnerability scanners for system security.
  • Administer enterprise-level workstations and servers.

Requirements

  • Hold an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Possess IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE).
  • Have a Bachelor's degree and 3-10 years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with 4 years of additional experience as a substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • Strong understanding of virtual and physical networking configuration.
