About the position

The Linux System Administrator role focuses on managing and supporting Linux-based systems, particularly in embedded environments. The position requires collaboration with developers and hardware engineers to ensure the stability, performance, and security of systems while deploying and maintaining software on embedded platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and optimize Linux-based systems (x86).
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools in C/C++, Python, and Bash for system automation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues.
• Collaborate with embedded systems teams to ensure smooth integration and performance.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements for scalability and reliability.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Linux system administration and development (x86 systems).
• Proficient in C/C++, Python, and Bash scripting.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems (preferred).
• Ability to perform well under contract conditions with a strong focus on initial performance.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
