Boeing Talent Acquisition is looking for a pool of talented applicants to fill future positions as a Linux and Systems Administrator to join their team in El Segundo, California. This position will design, install, operate, secure, and maintain dedicated Program Information Technology Infrastructure that is required to deliver products to our customers. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading Information Technology projects that provide dedicated program infrastructure, working directly with programs to ensure that Information Technology infrastructure solutions meet the program requirements and schedules. The role involves performing a multi-disciplined range of technical systems and application activities, including designing, installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and providing maintenance of systems hardware, software, and components. Additionally, the candidate will ensure that Information Technology infrastructure conforms with standard architectural objectives, provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems, and develop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organizational objectives. The position requires determining and developing approaches to solutions, receiving general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives, and contributing to the completion of specific programs and projects. Interaction with inter-organizational personnel and external customers is frequent, and the candidate will represent the organization by providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
