About the position

The Linux System Administrator (Operational C2 Fielder) at Torch Technologies is responsible for providing comprehensive support for Air Command and Control (C2) applications, including training system administrators. This role is crucial in ensuring the operational readiness and maintenance of various C2ISR programs, particularly in support of the U-2 and JSTARS aircraft. The position requires extensive experience in Linux systems, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and involves fielding and building Air C2 application systems.

Responsibilities

• Field/build Air C2 application systems
• Provide training to system administrators for Air C2 applications
• Support the execution of major GNS programs in the C2ISR Division
• Assist with system administration tasks for Air C2 applications

Requirements

• Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance
• High School Diploma
• 20 years of directly related experience, with 15 years in the DoD
• Knowledgeable of Air C2 applications
• Specialized experience utilizing and integrating Red Hat Enterprise Linux applications

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 25 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, with 20 years in the DoD
• Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field with at least 20 years of experience, 12 years in the DoD
