About the position

The Linux System Administrator at Hott Source is responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and providing support for a large Linux enterprise system. This role involves working with both traditional bare metal and virtual machines, with a focus on transitioning towards cloud environments. Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade Linux operating systems and infrastructure.
• Provide support for hardware, OS, and network issues.
• Work with cloud environments and architecture.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines for deployment processes.
• Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes or Docker.
• Implement automation using Puppet or Ansible.
• Debug and resolve issues related to servers, blade chassis, and fiber channels.

Requirements

• Experience in Linux System Administration, preferably with RHEL and CentOS.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or Docker for container management.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and their implementation.
• Experience with VMWare for virtualization.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Bash and Python.
• Ability to debug and resolve hardware, OS, and network issues.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud environments and architecture.
• Familiarity with SAN (Storage Area Network) technologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices in Linux environments.
