Parsons is seeking a talented Linux Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the system administration for Army Research Laboratory (ARL) computers that were installed in FY20. You will also play a crucial role in the design of the Army Research Laboratory A2I2 building, which is set to deliver systems in 2024 and beyond. Your expertise will be essential in providing advice for persistent services that support a diverse range of high-performance computing (HPC) software stacks, particularly in the areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), utilizing tools such as Kubeflow. As a Linux Systems Administrator, you will advise on architectural trade-offs involving cutting-edge technologies like NVidia Grace/Hopper, ARM architectures, and new file systems. You will also be responsible for training new system administrators, identifying open-source software tools and stacks tailored for customer-specific and production platforms, and developing software instrumentation to measure and visualize the performance of various systems, sub-systems, and user jobs. Your role will position you as a subject matter expert within the HPC program system administration team, contributing to research, development, and production HPC systems. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team, which delivers critical resources to our US government customers, ensuring the success of missions globally.
