About the position

The Systems Administrator is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining systems hardware, software, and infrastructure to ensure stability, security, and performance. This role involves monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing security protocols, primarily within Linux and Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage Linux (CentOS, RHEL, Oracle) and Windows Server environments, including VMware, Active Directory, and Apache.
• Perform system tuning, security updates, and resource optimization.
• Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and system policies.
• Provide Tier III support, troubleshoot issues, and administer virtual and Linux/Windows servers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator.
• 3+ years of experience with Windows Server.
• Experience with VMware & Virtualization is desired.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and TCP/IP.
