About the position

The Linux System Administrator (Operational C2 Fielder) at McBride Consulting LLC is responsible for providing comprehensive support for Air Command and Control (C2) applications within the AFLCMC/HBG group. This role involves fielding and building Air C2 application systems, ensuring effective training for system administrators, and supporting various C2ISR programs as they transition to sustainment. The position requires a strong background in systems administration and extensive experience within the Department of Defense (DoD).

Responsibilities

• Field/build Air C2 application systems
• Provide training to system administrators for Air C2 applications
• Support the execution of major GNS programs in support of the C2ISR Division

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen
• Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance
• High School Diploma
• 30 years of directly related experience, with 20 years in the DoD
• Knowledgeable of Air C2 applications

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 25 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, with 15 years in the DoD
• Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field with at least 20 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, with 12 years in the DoD
