About the position

The Linux System Administrator at Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) will provide essential support for Linux and Windows operating systems, ensuring system updates, configurations, and technical support for the customer in Dahlgren, VA. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity and security of the systems while adhering to government standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patching and STIG compliance for Linux Operating Systems.
• Provide technical support to resolve issues with Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
• Perform system updates and server configurations, including upgrades of the Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
• Implement changes to locally hosted workstations and servers.

Requirements

• Two years of demonstrated experience administering Linux Operating Systems.
• CompTIA Sec+ or GSEC or SSCP or CCNA/Security certification (IAT Level 2 or higher).
• Certification in Linux system administration.
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
