About the position

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Systems and Storage Engineer to manage and maintain the IT infrastructure in our Scottsdale, AZ office. This role involves setting up, configuring, and operating hardware and software systems, ensuring optimal performance and security of the IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and manage server environments and storage systems such as SAN, NAS, and cloud-based solutions.
• Ensure the smooth functioning and performance of the IT infrastructure, including network systems and data storage.
• Maintain system security by following best practices, including applying updates and security patches regularly.
• Provide support by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other hardware.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and ensure backups and disaster recovery systems are in place and effective.

Requirements

• 5+ years of storage AND system admin experience
• Experience maintaining virtualized environments using VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies
• Experience with network security including setup and administration of VPN's, firewalls, and antivirus/malware
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications (MCSE, CCNP, VCP, NCDA) preferred
