About the position

The Agile Delivery / HPC DevSecOps Engineer position at Lockheed Martin involves working as a Systems Administrator within a collaborative, agile environment. The role requires the candidate to relocate to Guam for 6-12 months and participate in a month-long training program in either King of Prussia, PA or Littleton, CO. The engineer will be responsible for managing IT systems, ensuring their security, and supporting various IT operations to help the company maintain its technological edge in the electromagnetic spectrum.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various IT systems in an agile scrum environment.
• Manage day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices.
• Patch and harden Linux RedHat OS and collaborate with security personnel to protect against cyber threats.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with 2 years of professional experience, or a Master's degree with no professional experience, or equivalent combined education and experience.
• Advanced professional experience with Linux system administration.
• Experience in software practices and configuration management.
• Scripting experience with tools such as Ansible and Bash.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with RedHat OS patching/hardening.
• Familiarity with RedHat OpenShift.
• Experience with Ansible Tower / AWX.
• Knowledge of computer networking.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced, team environment.
• Agile development experience.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification.
• Linux Certifications (CompTIA Linux+, RHCSA, RHCE).
• Experience with cloud migrations and CI/CD tools.
