About the position

The Linux Systems Administrator will serve as a primary point of contact for operations and maintenance activities within the Mission Technology Division at Acclaim Technical Services. This role involves providing comprehensive Tier 1, 2, and 3 support for both physical and cloud infrastructure, ensuring the functionality and security of systems while supporting developers and customers. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and focuses on maintaining high standards of system and application security.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact to the Sponsor regarding all operations and O&M activities.
• Provide Tier 1, 2, and 3 support to developers and customers.
• Oversee 24/7 support of physical and cloud infrastructure, including physical servers and cloud VMs.
• Maintain and ensure the functionality of applications, Windows, and Linux systems.
• Support and maintain system and application security best practices, including patch management.

Requirements

• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Experience supporting and maintaining physical and cloud environments, including workstations and virtual images.
• Experience deploying, supporting, and maintaining developer support tools, including code repository and collaboration tools.
• Experience providing Tier 1, 2, and 3 level customer support.
• Knowledge of Linux, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and AWS.
