About the position

The Linux Systems Administrator role at CDW involves managing and supporting the internal infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of network and system events, and providing troubleshooting and resolution for escalated issues. This full-time, onsite position requires an active DoD Top Secret security clearance and is based in Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and resolution of escalated events.
• Monitoring and identification of network/infrastructure events that require mitigation.
• Support the building and configuration of internal infrastructure.
• Create, test, and move to production the alerting capabilities for the supported devices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Active TS / SCI security clearance is required.
• 5+ years deploying and configuring enterprise monitoring toolsets.
• Expertise with standard management protocols like SNMP, SSH, PowerShell, etc.
