About the position

The Multi-Functional Systems Analyst position at Lockheed Martin involves supporting Linux-based systems for the Orion program within the Space Business Area. The role requires working in an agile environment to implement, troubleshoot, and maintain various IT systems, collaborating with a diverse team of technical professionals. The position mandates at least two days of on-site support at the Highlands Ranch office, with the remainder of the work being remote.

Responsibilities

• Support Linux-based systems for the Orion program.
• Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain various IT systems.
• Collaborate with system administrators, engineers, project managers, and software developers.
• Work in an agile environment, utilizing Scrum, Kanban, or other methodologies.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 5+ years of experience with administration of Linux-based environments.
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, AWS, or OpenStack.
• Experience working in Agile teams and understanding Agile development concepts.
• Knowledge of IT Security, system hardening, compliance baselines, and vulnerability management.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Understanding of network basics, DNS, and firewall configuration.
• Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and LDAP/AD.
• Experience supporting Hardware/Software Integration Labs.
