About the position

The Linux Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining Linux systems for a leading media and entertainment company. This role involves troubleshooting production software issues, performing software maintenance, and implementing solutions to ensure optimal system performance. The position is based in downtown Philadelphia and is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension or permanent conversion.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix production software issues.
• Utilize monitoring solutions to ensure system performance.
• Perform software maintenance and implement solutions as needed.

Requirements

• Strong Linux skills with some networking knowledge (Cisco, Juniper, or Arista).
• Experience with HPE Server Hardware, operations, and RMAs.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Nice-to-haves

• Kubernetes experience (optional).
