About the position

The Linux Systems Administrator at Accenture Federal Services plays a crucial role in supporting the engineering team by creating and documenting technical standards and procedures. This position involves managing Linux systems, ensuring their security and functionality, and contributing to the development of cloud-enabled infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux systems, including software updates and security patches
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS
• Design and build technical solutions for cloud-agnostic, cloud-enabled infrastructure with microservices or traditional application patterns
• Understand, configure, implement, and deploy systems using Linux command-line in a cloud environment
• Monitor systems, validate the integrity and accessibility of all server resources, hardware, systems, and key processes.

Requirements

• IAT Level II certification
• RedHat Linux Experience
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python, JavaScript, PHP, or Ruby
• Top Secret Clearance, SCI eligible
