Responsibilities

  • Upgrade and deploy applications in Linux environments.
  • Conduct research and development on cutting-edge technology within Openstack.
  • Review and update documentation related to system administration and software applications.
  • Monitor system performance and address outages on the platform.
  • Contribute to future hardware planning and expansion efforts.
  • Support mission partners by tackling unique intelligence problems.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen with a current TS/SCI clearance.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in Linux-based environments.
  • Proficiency in automation scripts (Ansible, Salt, CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Understanding of Python programming concepts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in full-stack development with Python.
  • Experience in Openstack administration and deployment.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Experience with data-driven tools like Hadoop, HDFS, Accumulo, ElasticSearch.
  • Familiarity with Docker, GitLab, AWS, and exposure to Cybersecurity (RMF/ATO).
  • Ability to adapt to ad-hoc requests and collaborate in team and solo environments.
