About the position

The Linux Systems Administrator at Sonepar Management US, Inc. is responsible for configuring and maintaining secure RedHat Enterprise Linux systems. This role emphasizes collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure systems are secure, agile, and compliant with organizational standards. Responsibilities

• Configure and patch secure RedHat Enterprise Linux systems.
• Collaborate with system/software vendors and Security Engineers/Architects to implement security requirements.
• Ensure RedHat Enterprise Linux systems align with the Center for Internet Security (CIS) Benchmarks.
• Maintain and monitor RedHat systems using SYSLOG and SIEM solutions.
• Write, debug, and maintain automation scripts using Python and Ansible.
• Ensure adherence to patch management processes and cybersecurity standards.
• Implement secure OS and application configurations using DevSecOps tools and processes.
• Collaborate with the Vulnerability Management Team to remediate vulnerabilities through automation.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a RedHat Linux systems administrator.
• Hands-on experience running RedHat servers in a virtualized environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Python and Ansible operations.
• Understanding of APIs, Configuration Management Practices, and JSON.
