The Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) position at Psycho Social Therapies involves providing essential counseling services to residents in long-term care facilities, particularly focusing on the geriatric population. Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one therapy, group therapy, and family therapy to residents in long-term care facilities.
- Conduct in-services to educate facility staff on resident needs and coping strategies.
- Assist residents in adjusting to their new environment and addressing issues such as anxiety and depression.
- Collaborate with facility staff to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
- Experience working in long-term care facilities or with the geriatric population is preferred.
