Responsibilities
- Negotiate resolution of pending litigation
- Engage in motion practice
- Review and draft pleadings and discovery
- Execute legal documents
- Attend hearings and trials in assigned regional area
- Manage a high volume legal practice
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in law
- Licensed and in good standing with the State of Texas
- Experience with Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Strong writing and research skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience in litigation and legal drafting
- Organizational skills
- Negotiation skills
- Entry-level experience (under 1 year)
