Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of substantive paralegal tasks related to commercial and business litigation.
• Work directly with attorneys on complex litigation cases and business disputes.
• Maintain and monitor court deadlines and case calendars.
• Electronically file documents through the ECF system or local State Court sites.
• Perform online PACER research and prepare drafts of pleadings, notices, and motions.
• Take ownership of projects and responsibilities with limited oversight.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and eDiscovery databases.
• Ability to conduct research using Westlaw and other tools.
• A 2 or 4-year degree and a paralegal certificate are preferred, though relevant work experience may substitute for education.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
