The role requires a strong background in legal administrative tasks, document management, and client communication, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in preparing legal documents and managing office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate and prompt preparation of pleadings, documents, memoranda, and correspondence.
  • Formatting, proofreading, and finalizing pleadings and correspondence with correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Manage client files and exhibits, maintain calendars, and document production.
  • Track time and cost entries, client billing, and payments.
  • Schedule and track appointments and court dates with strong organizational skills.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of legal secretary/paralegal experience in a law office.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and document management systems.
  • Ability to draft, edit, and e-file pleadings and prepare exhibits.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Typing speed of 60+ words per minute.
