About the position

The Litigation Paralegal position at Trief & Olk is a full-time role based in our midtown New York City offices. We are a litigation boutique specializing in personal injury, employment, and insurance litigation. The ideal candidate will be a bilingual paralegal fluent in Spanish, with at least one year of experience in a legal setting. This role requires a collegial, organized, and reliable individual who is motivated and possesses a strong attention to detail. The position is in-person, emphasizing the importance of direct communication and collaboration within our team and with clients. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be responsible for conducting pre-claim investigations and initial case assessments, drafting legal documents and correspondence, and performing various administrative duties. This includes managing calendars for hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and handling logistics. You will also be expected to communicate with clients and external parties professionally, ensuring that all interactions reflect the high standards of our firm. Proficiency in legal software for case management is essential to streamline our processes and maintain efficiency. We are looking for someone who has a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or a related field, along with proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
