The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process, from case inception to trial preparation and post-trial matters. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. As a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal, you will be responsible for conducting thorough intake interviews with clients to gather relevant case information. You will manage and organize case files, documents, and exhibits, ensuring that all materials are readily accessible for the attorneys. Drafting and filing legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests, will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will conduct legal research to support case strategy and arguments, prepare deposition summaries, trial notebooks, and exhibit lists, and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner. Your role will also involve coordinating with experts, witnesses, and other parties involved in the case, as well as assisting in trial preparation by organizing exhibits and preparing trial binders. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal.
  • Proficiency in legal research and case management software.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of local court rules and procedures.
  • Understanding of medical terminology and records.
