About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Insurance Defense Paralegal to join our AV rated Firm. This position is best suited for an individual who works independently with minimal supervision and has strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with litigation cases and will provide support to Attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for Trials, hearings, Mediation, Arbitration, Global Settlement Conferences, Examination Under Oath, and depositions.
• Organize and maintain case files and documents.
• Assist with document review and analysis.
• Draft legal documents, including contracts and pleadings.
• Coordinate with clients, Witnesses, and opposing Counsel.
• Prepare exhibits for Trial or other proceedings.
• Assist with Trial preparation, including organizing Exhibits and Witness lists.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Paralegal experience in litigation
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of litigation procedures and legal terminology
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (5 years required)
