Responsibilities

  • Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence.
  • Assembling documents, outlines, and exhibits for court filings, mediations, depositions, and hearings.
  • Drafting discovery responses.
  • Managing calendars and deadlines.
  • Conducting research and fact-finding as needed.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferred.
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Superb grammar, communication, and interpersonal skills with a helpful, proactive mindset.
  • Understanding of litigation procedures and the discovery process.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail when proofreading and typing.
