About the position

The Premier Litigation Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law Firm, headquartered in Los Angeles, is seeking a full-time experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our trial team from the initial filing of complaints through to trial. Your responsibilities will include propounding and responding to extensive discovery requests, drafting various motions, oppositions, and replies, as well as preparing pleadings and other essential documents such as declarations and exhibit lists. You will also be responsible for calendaring important dates, noticing depositions and hearings, and setting up court calls and appearance attorneys. Additionally, you will organize documents for filing and draft correspondence as needed, while also assisting with special projects that may arise. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional legal support. We are looking for a candidate who is not only skilled in litigation paralegal duties but also possesses a strong work ethic and a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of personal injury law.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting trial team from filing of complaint through trial
  • Propound and respond to extensive discovery
  • Draft various Motions, Oppositions and Replies
  • Draft pleadings and other documents such as declarations and exhibit lists
  • Calendaring
  • Noticing Depositions and other Hearings
  • Setting up Court Calls and Appearance Attorneys
  • Organize documents for filing
  • Drafting correspondence
  • Special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Experience as a Litigation Paralegal in personal injury law
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Nice-to-haves

  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish speaking) preferred
  • Experience with calendaring and scheduling
  • Familiarity with discovery processes
