About the position

A reputable regional law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their Los Angeles team. This position is fully onsite in Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) for the first 90-100 days, after which it can transition to a fully remote work arrangement. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a minimum of three years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, along with an ABA accredited Paralegal certificate. Strong experience with discovery processes, arbitrations, and trials in complex cases is essential for success in this position. The firm is offering a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $95,000, and they are eager to speak with qualified candidates immediately.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and arbitrations.
• Manage case files and maintain organized documentation for litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings and discovery requests.
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Review and summarize discovery materials and evidence.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts as needed.
• Assist in trial preparation, including the organization of exhibits and witness lists.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
• ABA accredited Paralegal certificate is required.
• Strong experience with discovery processes, arbitrations, and trials in complex cases.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
