We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our talented attorneys, providing essential support before, during, and after trials. Your responsibilities will include preparing a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. You will also be responsible for e-filing all court documents in both state and federal courts, ensuring that all submissions are timely and accurate. Effective communication is key in this position, as you will be liaising with clients, the court, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties. Conducting legal research and factual investigations will be a significant part of your duties, as will preparing discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses. You will draft and serve summons, coordinate and summarize depositions, and prepare trial binders and exhibits. Additionally, you will be involved in drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, filing them with the court as necessary. Administrative duties will also fall under your purview, including calendaring hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics. You will maintain pleadings and discovery indexes, organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices, and aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests. Gathering relevant information from various sources and preparing witnesses for trial will be essential tasks. You may also assist with case settlements and perform other tasks as requested by the attorney.
