The Litigation Paralegal position at a prominent boutique firm in Sacramento involves supporting the Managing Partner and the paralegal team in preparation for an upcoming trial. This role is initially temporary but has the potential to evolve into a more permanent position. The ideal candidate will be eager to engage in complex litigation tasks and gain valuable experience in a high-level paralegal role.

Responsibilities

• Support the Managing Partner and paralegal team in trial preparation.
• Handle discovery processes, including responding to and propounding discovery requests.
• Utilize e-Discovery knowledge to manage e-Discovery responses.
• Draft motions and pleadings in accordance with legal standards.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal court rules.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
