The ideal candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and possess very strong typing skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment. Prior law firm experience is required, as the role involves significant interaction with legal documents and court procedures. The litigation paralegal will be responsible for preparing all documents necessary for court hearings and depositions, which includes reviewing and analyzing medical records and preparing medical chronologies. The candidate will also draft and review discovery responses, motions, and pertinent pleadings, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner. Additionally, the paralegal will be tasked with calendaring court and case deadlines, creating, organizing, and maintaining litigation files, and meeting monthly billable requirements. This position requires a dedicated individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to strict deadlines.
