About the position

The Litigation Paralegal will support a Plaintiff Litigator in various aspects of litigation and trial preparation. This part-time, contract position requires strong research and writing skills, as well as proficiency in litigation technology. The role involves organizing evidence, preparing legal documents, and assisting in courtroom activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in research and writing for legal memos and briefs.
  • Propound and respond to discovery requests.
  • Prepare trial documents including motions in limine, witness and exhibit lists, and jury instructions.
  • Organize evidence and discovery materials for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
  • Prepare witness and document subpoenas.
  • Provide assistance in the courtroom during trials.

Requirements

  • Strong research and writing skills in a legal context.
  • Experience with litigation and trial preparation.
  • Proficiency in litigation technology and trial presentation software.
  • Ability to organize evidence and discovery materials effectively.
