About the position

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, from case inception to trial preparation. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for the legal field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize case files using document management systems
• Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis
• Provide administrative support to attorneys, including drafting correspondence to include motions, pleadings, and discovery
• Assist in preparing legal documents for court filings
• Responsible for handling all calendaring and scheduling of docket orders, mediations, depositions, hearings, and trials
• Interview clients and witnesses to gather case information
• Assist with trial preparation and attend trials when necessary

Requirements

• Proven minimum of 10 years of experience working in a law office as a Litigation Paralegal
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and simultaneous cases
• Excellent client service skills, including de-escalation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
