About the position
RAK Law is seeking a motivated and skilled Litigation Paralegal to assist in drafting and filing legal motions and responses. This full-time remote position requires a proactive individual who can manage court-ordered deadlines and contribute to a collaborative team environment. The role offers flexibility with the expectation of working from home while attending the office twice a month.
Responsibilities
- Drafting and filing motions, answers, and responses
- Answering Defendant's First Set of Interrogatories
- Responding to Defendant's Initial Request for Production
- Managing tasks to ensure court-ordered deadlines are met
- Writing correspondence, invoices, receipts, spreadsheets, and other reports as needed
Requirements
- 3 years of paralegal experience
- Paralegal Certificate or equivalent certification
- Proficient with Microsoft Platforms
- Proficient with Lexis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of legal terminology and legal procedures
