Contreras Law is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team in downtown San Diego. The role involves supporting attorneys in various litigation tasks, ensuring the firm maintains its commitment to integrity, professionalism, and excellence in client service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, with responsibilities including drafting legal documents, managing deadlines, and conducting legal research.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents and pleadings
• File court documents and manage court filings
• Draft correspondence and assist in the preparation of motions and trials
• Conduct light legal research as needed
• Calender and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation
• Knowledge of Judicial Council Forms
• Familiarity with discovery deadlines and requests/responses
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of California state court rules and procedures

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish (not required but a plus)
