About The Position

The Buckeye Law Group is seeking a dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000 per year. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of personal injury cases from inception through closure. This includes extensive client interaction, legal document preparation, and coordination of discovery processes. The Paralegal will support attorneys by organizing and managing case files, conducting legal research, preparing for depositions and hearings, and ensuring timely filing of documents. We emphasize client service, honesty, ethics, and results, and we are looking for someone who shares these values. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients and third parties, handling incoming calls, and communicating effectively to gather necessary information and documents. You will prepare pleadings, motions, notices, orders, and other legal documents, as well as set hearings, depositions, and mediations, ensuring all parties are informed and prepared. Your role will also involve drafting and sending notices of deposition, subpoenas, and other discovery-related communications, filing documents with the court system, and performing data entry duties to organize electronic case files efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a keen attention to detail. You will be expected to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment while being a team player. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of personal injury experience as a Paralegal or at least 5 years of prior legal experience working directly with clients. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bilingual skills in English and Spanish being a plus.
