The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal drafting, research, and case management, with knowledge of various legal areas such as Insurance Defense, Civil Litigation, Family Law, and Criminal Law. This position is crucial in supporting our attorneys in their day-to-day operations and ensuring that all legal documents are prepared accurately and efficiently. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be responsible for assisting attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings and discovery responses. You will conduct legal research using resources like Westlaw and manage, organize, and review various documents, such as medical records. Your role will also involve drafting contracts and other legal documents, assisting in trial preparation, and providing support to attorneys during litigation. Effective communication with clients, witnesses, and court personnel will be essential to ensure smooth operations throughout the legal process. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in legal writing and documentation, familiarity with Westlaw, and experience in litigating cases. Strong organizational skills are necessary for effective case management, as you will be handling multiple cases simultaneously. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $43,000 to $55,000 per year, and the work location is in-person in Chattanooga, TN.
