As a Paralegal at Harris Keenan & Goldfarb, you will play a pivotal role in shaping personal injury litigation outcomes. Your contributions in conducting legal research, preparing trial documents, and managing case files will be instrumental in our commitment to justice for injured clients. This position requires a proactive approach to support attorneys in various stages of litigation, ensuring that all necessary documentation is prepared accurately and timely. You will be involved in drafting and filing pleadings, managing a diverse caseload, and maintaining communication with clients throughout the process. Your expertise will help facilitate the smooth progression of cases from initiation through trial preparation and resolution. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting and filing pleadings, including summonses, complaints, and bills of particulars. You will manage a diverse case load at various litigation stages, including trial preparation, and support client intake by initiating files and maintaining communication. Additionally, you will respond to discovery demands, orders, and expert exchanges, draft discovery-related motions and correspondence, and prepare closing documents, including compromise orders and settlement releases. Your attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively will be crucial in ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall success of the legal team.

Responsibilities

  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
