About the position

The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys throughout the litigation process by conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, assisting with depositions, and managing case files. This role is crucial for ensuring that all information is organized and accessible according to the firm's litigation procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the organization and retrieval of documents for legal proceedings
  • Draft initial legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence
  • Conduct legal research and gather information
  • Review and manage client files
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and court proceedings
  • Aid attorneys in the discovery process

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
  • Paralegal certification or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with litigation management software
