We are currently seeking a litigation paralegal to join our growing team in our Philadelphia office. As one of the region's prominent civil law firms, we specialize in representing individuals and companies facing various forms of liability, including automotive and trucking negligence, medical malpractice, toxic torts, and work-related accidents. Additionally, we have a strong focus on combating healthcare and insurance fraud, establishing ourselves as a leading firm in this area since our inception. In this role, the litigation paralegal will assist attorneys in preparing civil litigation matters for trial. The position involves working closely with clients to obtain discovery documents, reviewing discovery materials, and drafting motions and discovery responses, as well as other legal documents. The paralegal will also be responsible for drafting and sending out subpoenas, setting up independent medical examinations, reviewing medical records, summarizing important information, and preparing for trial. Responsibilities

  • Assisting attorneys in preparing civil litigation matters for trial.

Requirements

  • Experience in the legal field is a plus, but not required.
  • Paralegal certificate or other related degree is a plus but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
