About the position

Downtown Fort Worth law firm is seeking an experienced certified paralegal to join our litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both state and federal court procedures, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage a high volume of cases efficiently and effectively. Candidates must possess experience with e-filing, document review, trial preparation, e-discovery, and drafting legal documents. Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success in this position. Additionally, familiarity with litigation presentation software is preferred, as it will aid in the preparation and presentation of cases in court. The successful candidate will be technologically inclined, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Westlaw, and Adobe Acrobat. This position demands a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all legal documents are prepared accurately and submitted in a timely manner. The paralegal will also be responsible for maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and communicating with clients and other legal professionals. This is a full-time position, and the candidate must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed, with a schedule of Monday to Friday.

Requirements

  • Paralegal Certificate (Required)

  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases
  • Technologically inclined with software proficiency
