The ideal candidate will bring 10-15 years of litigation experience from a law firm, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the paralegal's role throughout the litigation life cycle. This position is not just about performing tasks; it involves mentoring and training other paralegals and practice assistants, fostering a collaborative environment within the team. In this role, you will be responsible for a broad range of substantive paralegal tasks, working directly with attorneys on various matters including product liability, toxic tort disputes, complex commercial litigation, and other intricate business disputes across multiple industries. As a case manager for the litigation team, you will create and maintain an efficient system for document management and file organization, ensuring that all materials are readily accessible and well-structured. Additionally, you should be comfortable conducting research using various tools, including the Internet and Westlaw, and be flexible to work overtime as needed to meet business demands.
