About the position

Our client is looking for a Litigation Paralegal to handle a diverse range of tasks, delivering exceptional customer service and support while consistently producing high-quality work. The ideal candidate will maintain a broad understanding of the Litigation practice groups and possess specialized knowledge of the assigned attorneys' practice area(s) and clients, ensuring outstanding client satisfaction. This role is crucial in assisting attorneys with various legal tasks, which include drafting and preparing legal documents, reviewing and proofreading work for accuracy, and collaborating with attorneys on managing deadlines and trial preparations. The Litigation Paralegal will also be responsible for tracking billable and non-billable hours, ensuring that the firm maintains accurate records of time spent on various cases. Upholding the highest level of confidentiality for all firm and client information is paramount in this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in drafting and preparing legal documents.
• Review, edit, and proofread work to ensure precision and accuracy.
• Collaborate with attorneys on managing deadlines and trial preparations.
• Handle the daily tracking and entry of billable and non-billable hours.
• Uphold the highest level of confidentiality for all Firm and client information, records, and files, both internally and externally.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a Paralegal is required.
• 3 years of experience in Litigation is required.
• 3 years of experience in Commercial Litigation is preferred.
