About the position

The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in a San Diego law firm, focusing on litigation for top-tier automotive and medical device manufacturers. This role involves managing case preparation, drafting legal documents, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure efficient case management.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal notices.
• Coordinate with third-party distributors for records and inspections.
• Prepare medical records summaries, deposition materials, and exhibits.
• Manage discovery and document production.
• Participate in strategy meetings and handle case prep from start to finish.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of litigation experience in a law firm.
• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills.
• A paralegal certificate or equivalent experience is ideal.
• Research proficiency with tools like Westlaw is a plus.
