About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of legal procedures, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and timely.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing case files and exhibits.
• Manage legal case management software to maintain case files and documentation.
• Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with legal standards.
• Provide executive administrative support including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing documents with the court and maintaining organized records.
• Collaborate with attorneys on project management tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of proven experience as a paralegal or similar role.
• Proficiency in legal research techniques and familiarity with California Court rules and regulations.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Strong clerical skills including document review and organization.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
• Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures is preferred.
