About The Position

The Buckeye Law Group is seeking a dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Columbus, OH. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000 per year. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of personal injury cases from inception through closure. This includes extensive client interaction, legal document preparation, and coordination of discovery processes. The Paralegal will support attorneys by organizing and managing case files, conducting legal research, preparing for depositions and hearings, and ensuring timely filing of documents. We emphasize client service, honesty, ethics, and results, and we are looking for someone who shares these values. In this role, the Paralegal will be responsible for handling incoming calls and communication with clients and third parties, maintaining strong, ongoing relationships. The candidate will communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to gather necessary information and documents. Additionally, the Paralegal will prepare pleadings, motions, notices, orders, and other legal documents, set hearings, depositions, and mediations, and ensure all parties are informed and prepared. The position requires a keen attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities, as well as the ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required. A minimum of 2 years of personal injury experience as a Paralegal or at least 5 years of prior legal experience working directly with clients is required. An Associate's degree or higher in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution is necessary, along with a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program being preferred.
