The Litigation Scheduling Paralegal at Witherite Law Group plays a crucial role in managing personal injury cases, particularly those involving motor vehicle accidents. This position is integral to ensuring that all scheduling and case management tasks are handled efficiently, allowing attorneys to focus on providing exceptional service to clients. Responsibilities

• Effectively manage a case load of 75 - 100 cases
• Schedule hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations
• Schedule client meetings including discovery meetings, deposition prep, and trial prep
• Maintain case notes regarding scheduling in case management program (FileVine)
• Accurately manage attorney's calendar
• Verify and confirm attorney's appointments daily
• Draft deposition notices, hearing notices, and scheduling orders
• Prepare client letters, supplemental demand letters, and miscellaneous correspondence

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years (5 preferred) working in high volume personal injury case litigation
• Proficient in personal injury law involving motor vehicle accidents
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe, and Case Management (FileVine)
• Working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of personal injury litigation
• Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and critical thinking skills
• Detail oriented with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance and behavior
• Ability to work overtime as required

Nice-to-haves

• College degree / equivalent experience preferred
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced high-volume environment
