About the position

The Live Event Moderator at Truist Bank is responsible for facilitating live events for large audiences, utilizing various digital platforms. This role involves technical support for events, including sound and video checks, managing Q&A sessions, and ensuring a seamless experience for participants. The moderator will also handle scheduling and troubleshooting for events, requiring strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate live event hosting for audiences up to 5,000 attendees using tools like Webex Webinar and Teams Webinars.
  • Manage sound and video checks, slide sharing, and Q&A facilitation for Senior Leadership meetings.
  • Schedule live events and customize registration pages using MS Forms and MS polls.
  • Provide end-to-end technical support for conference equipment and troubleshoot issues with vendors.
  • Maintain a proactive and positive attitude while supporting all levels of teammates, including Executive Leaders.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience with collaboration products and platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex.
  • Strong written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to quickly read and comprehend questions during Q&A sessions.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and ability to produce training and operational guides.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with live troubleshooting and ticket resolution for technical issues.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work well under pressure.
